Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and compliance of Process Control Technology (PCT) systems within a chemical industry setting. The Operations Engineer will be responsible for planning and executing PCT maintenance, including managing budget, adherence to schedules, and compliance with internal and external technical and legal regulations. Key day-to-day tasks include scheduling and performing recurring inspections of safety-relevant PCT components, identifying and implementing PCT modifications, troubleshooting technical issues (e.g., PCT devices, installation technology), and performing necessary software changes within the Process Control System (PCS) and Safety Shutdown Systems (SSPS). The ideal candidate holds a degree in Measurement, Control, and Automation Technology or Electrical Engineering and possesses professional experience in technical operations and maintenance, particularly within the chemical sector, making this a critical position for maintaining operational integrity and safety.
