Job Summary

This critical role as REACH Manager within Corporate Product Stewardship focuses on ensuring Bayer's compliance with the complex European REACH framework, enabling the import and use of products in Europe. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and submitting comprehensive registration dossiers, including necessary chemical safety assessments and exposure scenarios. A core function involves developing strategic registration and testing plans for new active pharmaceutical ingredients, while also serving as the primary regulatory contact providing guidance to internal divisions and managing external service providers. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in chemistry, toxicology, or a related scientific field and possesses sound, practical knowledge of the EU REACH Regulation. This position offers the opportunity to drive continuous process improvement and engage actively with authorities and industry associations, translating regulatory changes into concrete, cross-divisional business processes to strengthen sustainable product stewardship.
