Job Summary

This role seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to serve as the key technical consultant for customers and partners focusing on PV and battery inverters. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing customized system concepts, preparing and delivering product presentations, webinars, and technical training sessions. You will work closely with the sales team, providing essential technical expertise during contract negotiations, project development, and new product launches. A critical component involves technically evaluating and pre-validating complex customer requirements, conducting feasibility analyses, and performing competitive benchmarking to identify market needs for R&D feedback. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field and possesses multiple years of experience in technical sales or support, ideally within the Photovoltaics or Energy Technology sectors. Proficiency in CRM systems and specialized planning software like PVsyst is required, along with fluency (B2 level) in both German and English, and a willingness to travel across Europe.
