Job Summary

This role is pivotal in driving the energy transition by taking responsibility for key digitalization projects within a modern, municipal energy utility. The successful candidate will conceptualize, implement, and document IT processes and energy technology workflows, focusing heavily on network digitalization initiatives such as Smart Meter Rollout and Smart Grid development. A critical component of the job is ensuring robust IT security and regulatory compliance across all relevant areas, including adherence to ISMS, BSI, MsbG, and NIS2 standards. The position requires a strong background in IT Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related technical field, coupled with initial professional experience, ideally within the energy industry. You will be expected to coordinate external IT service providers and contribute to finding intelligent and creative technical solutions in a flexible, team-oriented environment, while also participating in the necessary on-call service.
