This role is a compelling opportunity for a qualified IT or Geoinformatics professional to join the Technical Central Office within the Rural Services Center (DLR) in Bad Kreuznach. The specialist will be responsible for the conception, development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of technical procedures, specifically focusing on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) within the context of land consolidation (Flurbereinigung) processes. Key daily activities include providing statewide technical support for these procedures, contributing to training programs on new technical developments, and actively participating in technical working groups. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or Geoinformatics, excellent programming skills (ideally Python), and knowledge of GIS and object-oriented databases. Required Skills

Education

  • Professional experience in technical procedure development and maintenance within a GIS environment
