Job Summary

This temporary, full-time position offers a chance to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg as a Laboratory Technician, focusing primarily on cell culture management. Daily responsibilities include the hands-on cultivation of cell cultures on a lab scale, utilizing spinner flasks and shake flasks, as well as supporting the preparation of growth media and general laboratory setup. The role requires meticulous coordination of tasks, execution of sample withdrawals, measurement, and inoculation of cell cultures. A crucial aspect is the operation of automation recipes and maintaining stringent adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards through accurate documentation in manufacturing protocols. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification in Biology or Chemistry Laboratory Technology, Food Technology, or Pharmacy, coupled with professional experience in cell culture cultivation. Essential prerequisites include very good German proficiency and the willingness to work in a cleanroom environment, including weekends and holidays.
