Job Summary

This role involves serving as an Electrical Specialist focusing on Instrumentation and Control Technology within an industrial setting, ideally in the refinery or tank terminal sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of electrical systems and existing facilities. A core function is managing low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear, distribution systems, and associated control and drive technology. The specialist will also coordinate and execute mandatory inspections of electrical equipment (fixed and portable) according to relevant safety regulations (BetrSichV, DGUV). Key requirements include a completed apprenticeship as an Industrial Electrician or equivalent qualification, relevant professional experience with power distribution, lighting, and drive networks, and specific knowledge of electrical equipment in hazardous (explosion) areas.
