Job Summary

This crucial role involves coordinating and executing all measures necessary to maintain and restore the full functionality of data and communication technology systems and infrastructure at the Grevenbroich plant. The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring operational readiness, implementing technical and administrative measures to boost availability and efficiency, and strictly adhering to all maintenance management processes, including order management and external contractor supervision. Day-to-day tasks include managing major repairs, driving improvement projects, and overseeing the installation, conceptual design, and maintenance of telephone systems and networks. A key focus is on IT security and system availability. The position requires taking project responsibility for the communication technology aspects of larger initiatives and leading internal projects. Candidates must possess a background in industrial electronics or computer science/electrical engineering, coupled with professional experience and specific knowledge of Linux operating systems, ANSI C programming, and SQL databases.
