Job Summary

This is a fixed-term Research Associate position at the Technical University of Dresden (TUD), focusing on the interdisciplinary ELECSO project within the Chair of Hydrogen and Nuclear Energy Technology. The core goal of the project is to significantly boost the efficiency of alkaline electrolyzers by optimizing electrode surfaces using laser technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the laser-assisted coating and structuring of electrode surfaces, conducting detailed electrochemical investigations to evaluate electrode stability and performance, and managing project tasks independently. The role also requires publishing research findings and providing interdisciplinary support in the field of hydrogen technology. Candidates must possess a very strong scientific university degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field. Professional experience in laser-assisted material processing and managing scientific research projects is highly advantageous for this role, which runs until the end of 2027.
