Job Summary

This role involves leading the technical, economic, and personnel aspects of the Technology Department at the Vienna House Andel's Berlin, a large 4-star superior conference hotel. The Technical Director is responsible for ensuring the continuous operation, maintenance, and repair of all technical systems, including early planning of preventative maintenance and controlling the deployment of operational resources like machinery and tools. A critical component is energy management, focusing on consumption control and cost-saving optimization projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all legal safety standards and regulatory requirements, manage the department's annual budget and financial planning, and oversee renovation and modernization projects in collaboration with external partners. This position requires strong leadership, expertise in facility management or hotel engineering, and excellent communication skills in both German and English to coordinate teams and external stakeholders effectively.
