Job Summary

This role is for a highly motivated Associate Scientist (M.Sc.) or Scientist (Ph.D.) to join the Protein Sciences group, focusing on the production and characterization of therapeutic protein candidates for pre-clinical testing. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing protein production processes, encompassing molecular cloning, expression, and purification, and performing rigorous quality characterization using analytical techniques like ÄKTA/HPLC, SEC, and RP-HPLC. The ideal candidate possesses strong hands-on expertise in protein purification, downstream process development, and experience with mammalian expression systems (HEK293, CHO). Success requires scientific creativity, analytical rigor, excellent English communication skills, and a collaborative spirit to contribute innovative concepts and documentation (SOPs, reports) within multidisciplinary project teams, ultimately helping develop novel, life-improving drugs.
