Job Summary
This role is for a Commissioning Engineer specializing in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems, based in Forchheim, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting integration tests and functional checks of control and protection hardware and software for HVDC plants within the company's test center. Key responsibilities include independently performing and documenting Functional Performance Tests (FPT) and Dynamic Performance Tests (DPT), including customer acceptance tests, and commissioning HVDC/HGÜ systems worldwide. This position requires active participation in improvement programs like Lean and technical reviews, contributing to continuous process optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or energy engineering, practical experience in electrical power supply and plant commissioning, and specific knowledge of HVDC technology and related systems. The role involves significant international travel and offers an attractive, performance-based salary with a permanent contract.
