Job Summary

Join a dynamic and multi-cultural environment at Stadler Signalling, the competence center for railway signaling technology, as a CBTC System Engineer. In this role, you will be crucial in configuring CBTC sub-systems based on system requirements and project specifications. Your daily tasks will include creating essential project documentation such as Interface Specifications, customer manuals, and Bills of Materials, alongside coordinating extensively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers. You will also provide vital support during assembly, installation, testing, commissioning, and homologation phases. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science Engineering and possesses several years of project experience in Railway Signalling, ideally with prior involvement in CBTC projects. Expertise in requirements management using IBM Doors Next Generation (DNG) and fluent spoken and written English are mandatory. This position offers flexibility, creative freedom, and the chance to shape the future of mobility.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science Engineering (University or University of Applied Sciences level) or comparable training

Experience

  • Several years of project experience in Railway Signalling
  • Prior involvement in CBTC projects (highly advantageous asset)
  • Professional experience supporting assembly, installation, test, and commissioning activities
