Job Summary

This role is critical for ensuring seamless IT operations for a renowned electronics group in Stuttgart by managing both IT procurement and providing essential technical support to internal staff. Day-to-day responsibilities include determining IT hardware and software needs in collaboration with departments, obtaining quotes, managing vendor comparisons, and tracking equipment orders (including tools, PPE, and workwear). Additionally, the specialist provides front-line support for hardware, software, and network issues, handles device installation and configuration, and maintains IT documentation. Key qualifications include a completed IT apprenticeship or equivalent, strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network technology, and proficiency in IT administration basics (Windows) and MS Office 365. Experience in procurement processes and SAP is a distinct advantage. This position requires strong organizational skills, service orientation, and problem-solving abilities to maintain compliance and efficient IT asset management.
