Job Summary

This role seeks a (Senior) Systems Engineer specializing in Network and Security to join a decentralized team, offering the flexibility of 100% remote work. The core responsibilities include the comprehensive planning and execution of IT projects, focusing on the design, maintenance, and continuous development of client network infrastructures, routing solutions, and critical security systems like firewalls. A key daily function involves independently resolving 2nd and 3rd-level incidents and support requests. Candidates must possess significant professional experience in administering complex network and firewall systems, coupled with profound technical knowledge of network security concepts and their implementation. Expertise with major vendor products such as Sophos, Fortinet, HPE/Aruba, or Cisco is highly valued. This position requires a service-oriented, organized, and communicative team player who is fluent in German and proficient in English.
