Job Summary

This is an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg, initially through temporary employment. The core responsibilities involve hands-on laboratory work, primarily focusing on the cultivation of cell cultures using spinner flasks and shake flasks at lab scale. Key day-to-day tasks include preparing the laboratory, coordinating tasks, supporting the preparation of culture media, performing sampling, measuring samples, and inoculating cell cultures. A crucial aspect of the role is operating automation recipes and maintaining meticulous, GMP-compliant documentation within manufacturing instructions. The ideal candidate must have a completed professional training as a Biology Laboratory Technician (or equivalent in Chemistry, Food Technology, or Pharmacy), possess experience in cell culture cultivation, and be willing to work in a cleanroom environment, including weekends and holidays. Strong German language skills are essential for documentation and communication.
