This role is perfect for a Biological Technical Assistant looking to apply their laboratory expertise within the global leader in aquatics, Tetra, part of Spectrum Brands. The successful candidate will be based in Melle, Germany, and be responsible for performing critical lab work and tests related to fish food, aquarium maintenance, and bio-farm operations. Key daily activities include preparing microbiological procedures for production control, precisely documenting and evaluating results for finished feeds and raw materials, and ensuring strict adherence to legal, safety, and environmental regulations. The position requires a completed BTA qualification or equivalent, professional experience in a laboratory setting—ideally with fish pathology and handling—and familiarity with lab software, SAP, and microscopy. This is a full-time, permanent position offering career growth and the opportunity to contribute to biological quality assurance projects, including performing weekend and on-call duties.
