Job Summary
This Postdoctoral Researcher position, based at the Technische Universität Braunschweig's Immunometabolism Group, offers an exciting opportunity to investigate metabolic-immune cell crosstalk in the context of chronic inflammation and metabolic diseases. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting advanced interdisciplinary research, focusing heavily on metabolic profiling using stable isotope labeling and mass spectrometry-based metabolomics. Key daily tasks include performing experiments such as metabolic flux analysis, integrating complex metabolomics data with functional studies on primary immune cells, and collaborating extensively with internal and external research groups. The role requires a PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology) and excellent English communication skills, along with strong knowledge in metabolism research or mass spectrometry. Education
Master's degree (or equivalent) and PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Cell Biology, Metabolism or related fields
Experience
- Professional experience in Metabolism research
- Professional experience in Mass spectrometry-based metabolomics
- Professional experience in Cell culture of immune cells
- Experience with stable isotope labeling techniques and metabolic flux analysis (Advantageous)
