Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive management of IT software applications within a rapidly growing, international company. The IT Application Manager will be responsible for independently gathering software requirements, selecting appropriate IT solutions, and overseeing the development, testing, and implementation of these applications. A core aspect of the job is providing holistic consulting to specialized departments, managing related projects, and contributing to interdisciplinary IT initiatives. The manager will also assist in developing backup concepts in collaboration with Infrastructure and IT Security teams, and ensure process stability, performance, and availability through continuous monitoring. Candidates should possess a degree in relevant IT fields or equivalent vocational training, professional experience in application or service management, and strong German and good English language skills, coupled with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
