Job Summary

This role involves acting as a sharp-witted IT Security Consultant, leveraging extensive expertise to protect clients in a constantly evolving cyberspace. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating, selecting, and implementing modern IT security tools and solutions to secure hosting infrastructure. You will conduct and analyze vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to proactively identify risks and define countermeasures. A core function is consulting IT project teams on implementing security requirements compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards like ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz. The specialist will also work closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) on Incident Response Management and continuously monitor the threat landscape to assess new cybersecurity trends and derive preventive measures. Success requires a degree or training in Computer Science, deep knowledge of security technology implementation, and excellent communication skills in both German and English.
