As a Data Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a comprehensive Data Governance Strategy within an innovative environment leveraging Data Mesh principles and modern technologies. You will lead a dedicated team of Data Stewards, ensuring high-quality, trustworthy, and efficiently usable data products. Your responsibilities include shaping strategy, driving governance initiatives within the Data Governance Council, ensuring compliance with policies across data domains, and taking conceptual ownership of metadata management and the enterprise data catalog. This role is crucial for optimizing data classification, access, and security processes, fostering a data-driven culture, and advising teams on Data Governance and Data Mesh concepts to support scalable data products and AI-based solutions.
