Job Summary

This role as a Wiring Harness Engineer places you within an international automotive company, focusing on designing the future of vehicle electrical systems. Your primary responsibilities include independently creating physical and logical circuit diagrams, defining crucial specifications like cross-sections and pinning, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. You will drive development using CAD programs, manage complexity through modularization and configuration, and develop robust fusing and grounding concepts. Success in this position requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a Master Craftsman/Certified Technician qualification, coupled with a minimum of three years of professional experience specifically within BMW on-board network development. Proficiency with BMW-specific tools and norms (TEREG, GS-Normen) is essential, as are fluent German and English skills (C1 level). You will collaborate closely with interface managers and internal technical departments to verify system designs and shape cutting-edge automotive technology.
