Job Summary

As a Measurement Technician, you will be crucial to the vehicle seat development process, working directly on-site with client companies from prototype testing through series production. Your daily responsibilities include setting up complex test environments, selecting and installing the correct sensor technology, and ensuring the measurement chain is accurate. You will execute tests on vehicle seats, often utilizing test benches or specialized climate chambers, and generate corresponding diagrams. A key part of the role is analyzing the measured data for plausibility and verifying compliance against customer specifications, as well as maintaining calibration intervals. We are looking for candidates who possess completed technical training or a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering, coupled with solid foundational knowledge in Physics and Mathematics. Proficiency in measurement technology tools like Diadem and MS Office is essential. Success in this role requires a quick grasp of technical issues, fluency in German, and good working knowledge of English (B1).

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical training, preferably with further qualification as a Technician or a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Completed technical vocational training or further qualification as a Technician
  • Professional experience or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Solid knowledge of Physics and Mathematics (specifically physical units of measurement technology and technical mechanics)
  • Professional experience using measurement technology tools (e.g., Diadem)
