The Medical Physics Expert will play a crucial role within the Radiation Protection Staff Unit at the University Hospital Münster, ensuring the safe and compliant operation of various X-ray and laser facilities. This position involves traditional medical physics tasks related to X-ray systems, including monitoring diagnostic reference levels and optimizing radiation applications. Key responsibilities also include investigating and evaluating incidents in close collaboration with users and the Radiation Protection Officer, as well as independently planning and conducting internal inspections. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Medical Physics or an equivalent qualification, coupled with expertise in radiation protection, particularly in X-ray diagnostics.
