Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the seamless operation and high availability of critical IT systems within a traditional industrial company specializing in complex maritime and security-relevant technical systems in Hamburg. The IT Systems Technician is responsible for the full lifecycle management of the IT infrastructure, including the planning, setup, and ongoing maintenance of networks and systems. Key daily tasks include installing and configuring hardware and software components, providing essential 1st and 2nd level support for troubleshooting, and meticulously documenting system changes. Candidates must possess a completed qualification in IT System Integration or equivalent experience, coupled with solid expertise in Windows and Linux environments, as well as core networking technologies. Experience with virtualization, IT security, and backup solutions is highly beneficial for success in this demanding, yet rewarding, permanent position.
