Job Summary
This role involves supporting the Senator for Economy, Ports, and Transformation by managing and coordinating high-level political committee work, primarily focusing on the Federal Council's Economic Committee and the Conference of Economic Ministers. Day-to-day tasks include independently processing Federal Council matters, preparing the senior management for conference meetings, managing meeting documentation, and ensuring timely adherence to deadlines and schedules. The ideal candidate must possess the civil service qualification for the second entry level of career group 1 (General Services) or a completed administrative/office management apprenticeship. Essential skills include strong organizational ability, high social competence, and proven experience in preparing administrative processes and potentially committee work. This permanent, full-time position offers a crucial role in coordinating key economic policy decisions within the public administration structure in Bremen.
Required Skills
Education
Civil service qualification for the second entry level of career group 1, General Services OR completed apprenticeship as an administrative assistant, specialist for office communication, or commercial clerk for office management/office communication
Experience
- Professional experience in preparing administrative processes
- Experience in committee work (Desirable)
- Experience in the organizational preparation and follow-up of office processes (e.g., scheduling)
