Job Summary

This role involves designing, developing, and managing antenna systems for telecommunication satellite payloads across their entire lifecycle, from proposal to in-orbit operations. The Antenna Engineer will provide technical support during the proposal phase, conducting link budget analyses, developing digital payload concepts, and calculating antenna diagrams using specialized software. During implementation, they will focus on developing analog and digital antennas based on client specifications, supporting reviews, and managing electrical and mechanical interfaces. Post-launch, the engineer will plan and execute in-orbit RF tests and serve as the primary contact for payload antennas. This position requires a strong background in RF engineering, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team, ensuring the successful deployment and operation of advanced satellite communication systems.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Radio Frequency or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience with antenna simulation tools (Grasp, STK, SatSoft)
  • Initial experience with antenna measurements in a Compact Antenna Test Range (CATR) is advantageous
