Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Communications Technician or Electronics Specialist ready to take on significant national and international travel (over 70%). You will be instrumental in supporting ground-based air defense systems for a prominent client in the defense industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed fault analysis, executing new installations, and deploying software updates directly onto customer hardware. A key part of the job involves supporting network maintenance and analysis, coordinating external contractors, and meticulously documenting all fault diagnoses and service operations. The ideal candidate possesses a completed vocational qualification in electronics, communications technology, or high-frequency technology, coupled with a solid technical understanding of electronic systems and initial experience in EMC, radio, or high-frequency technology.
