Job Summary

This position seeks an FPGA and Hardware Development Engineer to join a prominent client in the energy technology sector in Erlangen. Day-to-day responsibilities include active participation in development projects focused on enhancing components using FPGA technology. Key tasks involve detailed circuit design, covering analog technology and FPGA design, alongside firmware development utilizing VHDL, and ideally C. A crucial aspect of the role is the rigorous execution of hardware, firmware, and overall system tests. Furthermore, the engineer will be responsible for tracking technical requirements and contributing significantly to the preparation of detailed specifications and comprehensive technical documentation. The ideal candidate must possess a completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology, preferably specializing in Embedded Systems, and substantial professional experience in hardware development, FPGA, and hardware testing.
