Job Summary

The Federal Office of Administration (BVA) is seeking a dedicated Lecturer/Instructor to join its training center in Berlin. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, conducting, and following up on lessons for various training programs, including those for administrative specialists, office management clerks, and mid-level civil servants. Your day-to-day tasks will involve developing and revising teaching concepts, selecting appropriate methods, and adapting content to participant needs. You will teach at least three subjects from a range including administrative law, public procurement law, civil law, and IT applications (MS-Office), with the potential to take on more. This position is ideal for someone with a background in law, administration, or economics, who enjoys conceptual work, has strong communication skills, and is committed to fostering a diverse learning environment. Required Skills

Education

Accredited university degree (minimum Bachelor's) in Law, Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Political Science, Education, or Media Studies; OR qualification as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirtin/Verwaltungsfachwirt); OR successful completion of preparatory service/promotion procedure for the higher non-technical administrative service and civil servant status (A 11 BBesO).

Experience

  • At least one year of practical experience enabling teaching in at least one of the specified subjects
  • Experience in teaching in the listed subjects and in adult education (advantageous)

Ability to communicate effectively with various target groups and assert oneself. Strong oral and written expression skills.
