Job Summary
This role is ideal for a skilled Materials Tester focusing on quality assurance and non-destructive testing (NDT) within a manufacturing environment, specifically involving high-pressure pipes and bends. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing dimensional checks and executing various non-destructive tests (NDT), such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), on components. The successful candidate must possess a completed technical education in a relevant field like Machining, Materials Technology, or Metal Construction Technology, coupled with fundamental experience in NDT methods. Strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and a high degree of quality awareness are essential. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Machining Technician, Materials Technician, or Metal Construction Technician. PT / MT / VT / ET certifications are advantageous.
Experience
- Fundamental experience in non-destructive materials testing using UT (completed training required)
- Professional experience in quality control and component inspection
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
