Job Summary
This role involves specialized materials testing and quality control for critical components, such as high-pressure pipes and bends, primarily focusing on non-destructive testing (NDT) methods. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting dimensional checks and various NDT procedures. Key qualifications include a completed technical education in areas like machining, materials technology, or metal construction, coupled with fundamental experience in non-destructive testing, specifically Ultrasonic Testing (UT). Proficiency in German (at least B2 level) is required, and English skills are beneficial. This position demands a high level of quality awareness, reliability, and the ability to work independently within a structured 3-shift operation. Certifications in other NDT methods (PT, MT, VT, ET) and SAP knowledge are advantageous for this permanent, full-time opportunity.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training/apprenticeship as a Machining Technician, Materials Technician, or Metal Construction Technician. Completed training in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is required.
