Job Summary

This role is for an Administrative Officer specializing in E-Government and Digitalization within the Education, Culture, and Sports Department (BiKuSport) of the Neukölln District Office in Berlin. The primary focus is managing and supporting Information and Communication Technology (ICT) basic services and driving digital transformation. Day-to-day tasks include serving as the central ICT interface for the department, preparing for and organizing the introduction of new ICT services like the Digital File, and providing technical and functional support to end-users across all organizational units. The officer will also be crucial in implementing optimized, digitized workflows. Candidates must possess a completed Advanced Administrative Course (VL II) or a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Public Administration or Business Informatics. Required Skills

Education

Completed Advanced Administrative Course (VL II) or Bachelor's/Diploma (FH) in Public Administration, Business Informatics, or comparable IT-focused degrees; alternatively, relevant vocational training combined with administrative experience.

Experience

  • Completed Advanced Administrative Course (VL II) OR relevant Bachelor's/Diploma degree (e.g., Public Administration, Business Informatics)
  • Minimum 1 year of public service administration experience following vocational training (if VL I or Administrative Specialist training completed)
  • Minimum 3 years of public service administration experience following commercial/administration-related vocational training
  • Up to 8 years of general administrative experience in the public sector (alternative qualification route)
