Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive financial management, planning, and reporting within a large organization, specifically focusing on state accounts and budget processes. The specialist will be responsible for budget planning, establishing state accounts, managing credit processes, and coordinating annual financial closings (FI accounts). A key aspect of the role is providing expert advice on financial matters, ensuring compliance with accounting directives, and actively developing financial processes using modern tools like Power BI, automation, and AI. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in business economics or a federal diploma in finance, coupled with strong knowledge of financial and budgetary processes in large organizations and targeted analytical skills using SAP S/4HANA (FI, CO, MM, SD). This position offers the chance to apply an innovative vision to financial issues, simplifying processes and improving structures by linking financial data to future challenges, contributing directly to the success of the Swiss administrative model.

Required Skills

Education

Degree from a higher technical college or university in Business Economics, or a Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting

Experience

  • Professional experience in finance and accounting, including tiered reporting
  • Very good knowledge of financial and budgetary processes within large organizations
  • Ability to structure complex financial issues and quickly understand interconnections

Additional

  • Active knowledge of two official languages is required. Must be willing to actively develop financial processes. The role is based in Zollikofen, Switzerland, with the possibility of remote work, working 80-100%.
