Job Summary

This role involves managing and supervising critical construction, engineering, service, and supply projects within the Road Operations Service, focusing primarily on maintaining and developing road and bicycle path infrastructure. The Project Engineer will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, including tendering, budget planning, and overall project organization. A key aspect of the role is actively participating in the organization and steering of the Road Operations Service, particularly ensuring traffic safety during winter service operations. Candidates must hold a university degree (Bachelor or Master) in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering (Construction focus), Mobility Management, Environmental Engineering, or Infrastructure Management. Knowledge of German contract and traffic law (VOB, StVO) and specialist expertise in road systems (maintenance, drainage, pavement) are highly desirable.
