Job Summary

This role involves acting as the certified Railway Construction Supervisor (KIB) for sophisticated structural engineering projects across the Hesse region, focusing heavily on railway infrastructure such as bridges and tunnels. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the entire construction process, coordinating all involved parties—including contractors, engineering firms, and the railway operator (DB InfraGO)—and ensuring strict adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, costs, and deadlines. A key task is scheduling and coordinating necessary track closures (Sperrpausen) which requires flexibility for night and weekend work. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering and either hold the KIB certification or be committed to acquiring it through a fully financed, 60-day functional training program provided by Hessen Mobil.
