Job Summary

This role seeks a Senior Software Commissioning Engineer/AGV Consultant to join BÄR Automation GmbH, a subsidiary of Agile Robots SE. The core responsibilities involve the programming and commissioning of Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems and complex intralogistics software, including conveyor and shuttle controls. You will be responsible for creating Siemens Step7 and associated visualization programs, performing software changes, and managing the entire system lifecycle from initial setup through production support and final customer acceptance. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or Informatics, coupled with extensive professional experience in PLC programming, preferably Siemens S7/TIA Portal. Proficiency in C, C++, C#, Java, or Microcontroller programming is also required.
