This Senior Electrical Design Engineer role requires an electrical expert to lead the design and integration of robust electrical systems for complex industrial automation and robotic applications. The core focus is developing comprehensive electrical systems and schematics using EPLAN P8, ensuring seamless integration with control systems, and maintaining strict adherence to international safety standards (CE, NEC, IEC). Day-to-day responsibilities include component selection (PLCs, sensors, actuators), creating Bills of Materials (E-BOMs), collaborating closely with PLC programmers, and overseeing installation and commissioning processes. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Automation Technology and at least five years of specialized experience, ideally within the automotive or robotics sectors. Success in this role demands expertise in complex electrical planning, familiarity with SCADA architectures and fieldbus protocols, and the ability to communicate fluently in both German and English with international customers and vendors.
