Job Summary

This role is designed for a dedicated Hardware Engineer specializing in Safety Instrumentation & Control (I&C) based in Erlangen. The core responsibility involves transforming functional requirements into precise manufacturing documentation for safety control cabinets, utilizing qualified hardware platforms. Day-to-day tasks include performing critical technical calculations, such as determining current consumption, power loss, voltage drop, and estimating operational temperatures within the cabinets. The engineer will be responsible for meticulous document management using dedicated systems and coordinating closely with manufacturing, testing, and commissioning teams to ensure accurate customer documentation. Successful candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, possess initial professional experience in this domain, and demonstrate specific knowledge of power plant construction and safety control technology. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for effective communication within the team and with clients. This full-time, permanent position offers an attractive salary and a 35-hour work week.
