Job Summary

This role is for a Local IT Services Consultant based in Sarstedt, responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations and actively shaping the technological future of an international site within the GEA Group. The consultant serves as the central point of contact for all local IT matters, providing support to management and end-users. Key responsibilities include planning and executing local IT projects, supporting global initiatives, monitoring Service Level Agreements, and driving continuous improvement in IT services, documentation, and training. Candidates must possess a strong technical background, including solid knowledge of network and server systems (Windows, Linux, Virtualization, Infrastructure). Success requires at least three years of professional experience in an IT role, coupled with excellent communication skills in both German and English (B2/C1 level) to collaborate effectively with global colleagues and external service providers.
