Project Manager (High Voltage Substation Planning and Construction) | Projektleiter (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves leading the planning and construction of high-voltage substations (primary technology) within the Avacon grid area, ensuring successful handover to customers or operations. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project schedules, managing approval processes, planning temporary installations, and ensuring supply security. Key responsibilities include coordinating technical interfaces, managing project teams and service providers, handling budget accountability, and securing materials and services in collaboration with procurement. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Industrial Engineering, possesses experience in managing construction projects for electrical installations (ideally high/medium voltage), and is proficient in MS Office tools, OrcaAVA, and SAP. Strong German language skills (C1 minimum) and a willingness to travel within the network area are essential for success in this demanding, team-oriented environment focused on the future of energy supply.
