Job Summary

This role supports the Institute for Computer Graphics by managing and maintaining essential IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The specialist will handle procurement planning, selection, operation, and maintenance of IT resources, including managing PC pools, networks, and internet services. Key responsibilities involve administering the AWS cluster and Linux-based server infrastructure, supporting institute members in system usage, and technically organizing invited talks and livestreams. The ideal candidate possesses experience in system administration (Windows/Linux/MacOS), network and cloud systems (AWS, Cisco), and holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. While not mandatory, experience in web and application development (C++, Python, Java) is desirable.
