Job Summary

This role is designed for a Sensor Development Engineer passionate about sensor technology, focusing on the design and implementation of sensor systems for actuators across various vehicle powertrains, including battery-electric, hybrid, and conventional models. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the functional integrity of the system, specifying detailed requirements in close coordination with component owners, suppliers, and project teams. A core function involves planning, executing, and evaluating extensive test series—both on the road using test vehicles and on the test bench—utilizing specialized measurement technology and application tools. Candidates must possess a completed university degree in a relevant technical field such as Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Vehicle Technology, coupled with professional experience in sensor system development. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory. This position offers continuous professional growth and the stability of a permanent contract within a diverse engineering service environment.
