Job Summary
This role seeks an IT Support Specialist to join the Service department of a leading manufacturer of specialized bonding and welding machinery used in the electronics industry, particularly serving the electromobility and renewable energy sectors. The primary responsibilities involve providing autonomous 1st Level IT support directly to international customers, addressing their specific IT-related inquiries and problems. You will also deliver 2nd Level IT support to the company's service technicians across subsidiary companies, requiring close collaboration with internal software development teams to resolve complex customer issues. A critical component of the job is ensuring high customer satisfaction through proactive, solution-oriented communication, meticulous documentation of service requests and solutions within the ticketing system, and maintaining internal knowledge databases. Key qualifications include successful vocational training as an IT Specialist for Application Development, routine proficiency with MS Office applications, and excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
