Job Summary

This position is for a Geoinformatics Specialist to support a municipal energy service provider focused on driving the energy transition and achieving climate neutrality. Day-to-day responsibilities center on the administration, parameterization, and configuration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). You will be responsible for central data maintenance of critical network operating resources, including topography, and will actively participate in projects focused on GIS applications and processes. A key aspect of the role involves advancing documentation systems, promoting new surveying and digitization technologies, and generating data-driven evaluations and statistics. Furthermore, you will implement quality assurance measures according to GW130/S130 standards and act as the first point of contact for GIS system support. Candidates must possess relevant vocational training in surveying or geomatics, coupled with professional experience in network digitization, and specific knowledge of Smallworld and Lovion GIS systems.
