Job Summary
This role involves providing essential Second-Level IT support and ensuring the robust operation of the company's system and network infrastructure across its extensive branch network. The specialist will be responsible for the independent analysis, prioritization, and resolution of complex technical disruptions concerning servers, networks, communication systems, and branch technology (e.g., POS systems, routers, VPN). Key responsibilities include the administration, maintenance, and monitoring of the server landscape (physical and virtual), along with the continuous development and security of corporate networks (LAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls). The ideal candidate possesses a relevant IT qualification, several years of professional experience in system administration or network technology, and deep knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies. This position offers a key role in digitally advancing a stable, growing subsidiary of EDEKA Nord, combining strategic input with hands-on operational project execution.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in system administration, network technology, or Second-Level Support
- Experience managing network infrastructure (Switches, Firewalls, VPN, Routing)
- Experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization
Languages
