This is a unique, full-time, permanent position for an experienced Civil Engineer who will also serve as the Head of Department for Construction and Property Management in the city of Bad Gandersheim. The role requires exceptional organizational and project management skills to independently lead new construction and expansion projects in civil engineering, including creating service specifications, overseeing construction execution, and managing billing. Key responsibilities include applying public procurement law for tenders and contracts, managing public lighting, and implementing flood protection measures. As a department head, the professional will oversee high-rise construction, building management, civil engineering, playgrounds, and real estate. The ideal candidate must be structured, resilient under pressure, possess strong communication skills for collaboration with architects and authorities, and demonstrate technical expertise in relevant norms and regulations.
