Job Summary
This permanent, full-time position as an Electronic Records Manager is crucial for driving the digitalization of the Darmstadt city administration, offering a secure workplace within the Office for IT. The successful candidate will serve as the central point of contact for the operation and further development of the city's e-file software. Daily tasks involve capturing, prioritizing, and managing both functional and technical requirements, organizationally steering e-file relevant digitalization processes, and implementing robust quality assurance measures. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or a related field, or comparable professional experience (minimum 2-3 years) in application management and E-File systems. Extensive knowledge of IT service management processes (Incident, Change, Release Management) and fluent German proficiency are essential. This role offers an engaging and varied set of responsibilities, allowing the manager to contribute directly to modernizing the city's infrastructure.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (at least Bachelor or Diploma [FH]) in Computer Science, Business or Administrative Informatics, IT Security, IT Management, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Extensive professional experience in application management in operation
- Experience in processes of Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management
- Experience in Project Management
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience (if using comparable qualification pathway)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in E-File Management (if using equivalent abilities pathway)
