Job Summary

This role is based at Akkodis, a global leader in Smart Industry, Engineering, and R&D, focusing on creating sustainable and smarter technological futures. The Electrical Designer will be responsible for the planning and construction of electrotechnical systems, controls, and switch cabinets. A core daily task involves the detailed creation of circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and parts lists using EPLAN Electric P8. You will actively maintain and develop EPLAN macros, standards, and libraries. Furthermore, you will support the entire project lifecycle, from the initial concept phase through to final commissioning, requiring close collaboration with manufacturing, purchasing, and internal commissioning teams. The ideal candidate possesses a completed qualification as an Electrician, Electrical Technician, or Technical Draftsman, combined with several years of professional experience in electrical design, particularly utilizing EPLAN P8, and fundamental knowledge of relevant industry norms.
