Job Summary

This role involves managing the IT infrastructure and laboratory environment at the European Campus Rottal-Inn (ECRI). Daily tasks include the administration and maintenance of IT systems, installation, and configuration of specialized lab software. The engineer acts as the primary contact for First and Second Level Support, analyzing and resolving hardware and software issues for staff and students, and managing support tickets. A crucial part of the role is hardware and software procurement, including needs analysis, market research, commissioning new equipment, and decommissioning old systems. Furthermore, the position provides technical support for teaching activities, including student safety instructions and adapting the laboratory setup. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent vocational training, coupled with excellent German and English proficiency. The position is full-time and initially limited to two years, offering a modern, international work environment.
